Sargon7, Facecorp's president, runs a fighting tournament giving the winner the chance to win a big pot of real money given directly by him in the company's headquarters. Winning the tournament is the only way for many people to opt out of Facecorp and live a life out of labor exploitation. The Resistance is a secret organization planning to take control of Akkadia by planting a decoder in Facecorp's headquarters and overthrow Sargon7 by removing his admin privileges.
