S.T.A.R.V.E. is a farming roguelike deckbuilder set in space. The corporation drops you on an alien planet with a quota to fill. Deliver the harvest or lose the job. Your farm is a grid and your deck at the same time. Cards plant crops and trigger harvests, and the payoff comes from how the tiles react to each other. Selling produce earns C.R.A.P., the company currency, which pays for booster packs and card mutations in the S.T.A.R.V.E. Lab. Every quota you hit raises the next one. Each run starts on a new planet with its own hazards, so the money-printing combo that carried you last time has to be built again from scratch. The corporation S.T.A.R.V.E. sends you deep into different galaxies to farm alien planets and hit its ever-rising production quotas. Each planet cycles through hostile seasons that change what you can grow and how you survive. Along the way you run into strange aliens and natural disasters that keep the farming anything but easy. You draft and stack cards into money-printing combos that generate enough output to stay ahead of the numbers. Fall short of a quota and you are fired.
