The Spirit Engine DX

The Spirit Engine DX is a complete rewrite of the cult classic indie title from 2003 by Mark Pay. Instead of using a traditional turn-based system, an auto battler with real-time pausing is opted to allow players to switch tactics at their own pace without constant menu prompts. A plot spanning five distinct worlds. Three strangers going about their daily business, find themselves transported and stuck together on a remote island with a small, mute and ghostly spirit. They soon find themselves playing Survivor for real, trying to figure out what they should do as unfriendly creatures, bounty hunters and sinister forces chase them across the world, from misty, haunted forests and snowy mountain-tops to arid, magic soaked sand-dunes and skyscrapers.
