Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is a re-release of Tomb Raider, developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square-Enix for the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One. The game is optimized for next-gen consoles, with the help of outside developers including United Front Games and Nixxes Software. Definitive Edition includes several visual and game play enhancements, and is packaged with all available downloadable content for the game. The game was released on January 28th, 2014. A reboot that reconstructs the origins of one of gaming's most iconic adventurers, Tomb Raider follows a young and untested Lara Croft long before she becomes the hardened explorer of legend. Seeking the fabled lost kingdom of Yamatai, Lara and her companions set sail aboard a research vessel, only for a violent storm to wreck the ship and cast the survivors ashore on a remote, uncharted island. Stranded, injured, and separated from her friends, Lara must summon a resilience she never knew she possessed simply to stay alive in the hostile wilderness. But the island is far from deserted: it is home to a dangerous and fanatical cult that hunts the castaways for its own sinister ends.
