Thalas, an ocean planet located within Earth’s reach, may hold the answer. In bioscience, it is known as a synonym for symbiosis, all its lifeforms connected into one whole. In politics, it is a bargaining chip, one of the most politically sensitive postings in known universe. The game begins when its science station goes dark. The player character is Ava Horvat, a diplomatic envoy to the Bakhan, guided by the motto “You wouldn’t abandon ship in a storm just because you couldn’t control the winds.” Her younger brother is a radiologist stationed on Thalas. She makes sure she gets sent in to find out what happened. The crew she comes to rescue is frightened and hiding. Conversations become negotiations as Ava attempts to reconstruct what is happening on Thalas and how to escape its grasp. Except, the longer they are all there, the harder it becomes to find the right words as the mystery deepens. One thing is certain - You can't stay who you are.
