Far Cry 5: Second DLC takes place on Mars

Next week Ubisoft will release the DLC Lost on Mars for Far Cry 5. This expands the story by a trip to Mars, where Nick Rye and Hurk are supposed to prevent an impending alien invasion. Weapons such as the Blaster of Disaster or the Hellfire are available, while the Far Cry Arcade is extended by Lost on Mars content like the Obliteratorrrr.

Moving away from realistic scenarios

After Ubisoft released the first Far Cry 5 DLC Hours of Darkness in early June, the second story extension Lost on Mars will follow next Tuesday. While Hours of Darkness put you into the role of a Vietnam veteran having to fight your way through the jungle in the stealthiest way possible, the second DLC moves away from the rather realistic scenario, taking place on Mars.

While the task for players will not only be preventing an alien invasion, new weapons à la Blaster of Disaster, Hellfire and Morphinator will also be introduced.

Far Cry Arcade

The DLC will be available to players as part of the Season Pass or Gold Edition and for sale individually. Players who don't plan on buying the DLC will be able to access some of the new Mars content via the Far Cry Arcade to "create futuristic science fiction settings".

Lost on Mars will be released on Tuesday, July 17 for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
