At the CES 2019 in Las Vegas, graphics card manufacturer Nvidia showed a new trailer for Bioware's Anthem, which makes the game shine in a beautiful 4K look. The online action game supports the modern AA technology DLSS and is bundled with Nvidia's latest graphics card RTX 2060.
New trailer new graphics card
Bioware's developers are once again working closely with hardware manufacturer Nvidia on the development of Anthem. For this reason, the online action game was also part of the graphics card specialist's press conference at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. A new trailer for the game was shown here, which of course was mainly about the graphic splendour of the title. In fancy 4k, the one and a half minute clip shows impressive landscapes, light effects and character models.
The trailer also serves as an advertisement for the newly introduced GeForce RTX 2060, which will be available just in time for the release in a bundle. The PC version of the game will be equipped with the latest DLSS technology - Deep Learning Super-Sampling - which, according to Nvidia, is the most advanced anti-aliasing technology using AI to train the GPU to render sharp images.
When will Anthem be released?
As on consoles, Anthem will be officially released on the PC on February 22, 2019, and Origin Access subscribers will be able to get a first impression as early as February 15. If you want to get started even earlier, you can play the VIP and public demo from February 1 to 3 and January 25 to 27. To access the VIP demo, you must pre-order the game or be a member of Origin or EA Access. The official system requirements for the PC version are sadly not known yet, which might be an important point for many players - you will probably need a very powerful computer to achieve the same graphics as in the 4k trailer.
