If you are looking for a new challenge in the darkly staged game Frostpunk, you should not miss its latest update 1.1.0. As we all know, Frostpunk is anything but an easy game, even in normal mode.
So far, if you liked to play in a bit more challenging manner, you could simply try your luck at a higher level of difficulty. If that is still not enough for you, then you should get your hands on the latest update, which, among other things, offers a new Survivor mode - a particularly hard challenge. In addition, there are numerous optimizations and bug fixes.
The developers of 11 Bit Studios (This War of Mine) have just introduced the new "Survivor Mode", which is supposed to be the ultimate challenge for all Frostpunk players. First of all, the difficulty is raised further, making the game even harder. Secondly, if you choose to play in this mode, you will no longer be able to actively pause the game. This only happens, when you call one of the menus. Thus, you are constantly under a certain (time) pressure.
Furthermore, the automatic saving taking place in the game will no longer be happening. Your progress only gets saved when you leave the game. If you make a mistake, it is therefore impossible for you to quickly load a savegame and iron out the faux pas. Decisions made in the game are practically final.
If you accept the challenge and successfully play through Frostpunk in Survivor Mode, the game will reward you with new achievements for your efforts.
