Survival mode, Battle Royale in Counter-Strike?
This Wednesday, we are likely to see a major update for
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Rumours have it that this could be
a much-awaited survival mode, with the official Counter-Strike
Twitter account asking their followers the following question: A
tweet announcing something special this Wednesday.In addition, the
social media account changed its logo colours - now featuring a
red-black symbol.Rumours about a survival mode have been mentioned
sporadically in the course of the recent months.
League of Legends: Odyssey goes PvE, new skins
As part of the Odyssey event, League of Legends will receive a co-op
PvE mode called Extraction, in which you and four teammates will
have to go on a rescue mission on a new map called Crash Site.
Playerunknown's Battlegrounds: Snow map leaked
While the developers of Playerunknown's Battlegrounds had already
announced a new map at E3 2018, data miners have now discovered the
layouts of the new map while browsing the source code of the game.
New Subnautica DLC literally takes you Below Zero
The developer studio Unknown Worlds is working on the standalone
expansion Below Zero in the style of Subnautica. As the name
suggests, this time it takes you to an arctic region full of
icebergs, snow and numerous secrets. The game is still in concept
phase but should be playable in the next few months with an early
access version.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2: The new roadmap
The developer studio DICE and Electronic Arts have published a
roadmap for the multiplayer shooter Star Wars Battlefront 2
extending into the upcoming winter and there will be a lot of new
content to look forward to. Among other things you will be able to
expect an improved troop system, General Grievous as a new hero
joined by Obi-Wan Kenobi and the planet Geonosis in November, as
well as Count Dooku and Anakin Skywalker.
Star Wars Battlefront 2: Elite Corps incoming!
EA and DICE have announced the next content drop for Star Wars:
Battlefront 2, with which two new divisions of clone soldiers are
entering the battle. As of August 29, the 41st Elite Corps and the
327th Star Corps will become available, along with new troop outfits
and the hangar on Naboo.
War Thunder: Wreak havoc in combat helicopters
The military MMO War Thunder lets you control tanks, aeroplanes, and
- in the beta - even ships. With the next major update, the
developers of Gaijin Entertainment want to introduce combat
helicopters into the free-to-play game.
R6S Grim Sky - Loner vs. team player
Prior to the grand finale of the Rainbow Six: Siege major tournament
in Paris, Ubisoft has unveiled Operation Grim Sky. Next to fixing
the misalignment of gun sights and the rebuilding of the Hereford
base map, the battlegrounds of the tactical shooter are also
refreshed with two new characters, Maverick and Clash.
Black Ops 4: Beta Feedback & Updates
The recent multiplayer beta of the first-person shooter Call of
