NBA 2K20 is eyeing up its release on the 6th September 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. Furthermore, publisher 2K Games wants to release the game on Google's Stadia game streaming service. This year's cover athletes are Anthony Davis for the Standard and Deluxe Editions; and Dwayne Wade for the Legend Edition.
Meanwhile, as the release is getting closer and closer, you can already play this year's part of the series. 2K has announced a demo of NBA 2K20 for PS4, Switch and Xbox One, playable on the 21st of August at 9:01 am CET. In the demo, you will be able to test the new MyPlayer editor, start your career and hit the virtual courts two weeks ahead of its actual release. You can try a variety of MyPlayer configurations to create the player that best fits your playing style. The best thing, however, is that you will be able to transfer your character from the demo to the full version afterward.
Will NBA 2K20 have a PC demo?
While the NBA 2K20 demo is excellent news for everyone and will allow players to get a first look at the new game, the playable demo will only be available on the three main consoles. PC-players will not get a demo. However, things are not set in stone yet, and rumors about a closed PC demo have started emerging.
