How long to beat Jedi Fallen Order?

How long to beat Jedi Fallen Order?

How long to beat Jedi Fallen Order? Thumbnail

Jedi: Fallen Order is one of the best Star Wars games released in recent years. Its Tomb Raider-like parkour combined with Dark Souls style gameplay is a combination that works surprisingly well.

The semi-open world gameplay is also a joy to explore, but could take quite a while depending on how invested you are in getting all the collectibles.

How long does it take to beat Jedi: Fallen Order? It varies depending on your playstyle, but the average time is around 20 hours. There are other factors that contribute to gameplay length, and I’ll give you a breakdown of approximate time for each of them.

Gameplay Style

Whether you’re a completionist or not is the biggest factor affecting time to beat the game. Completionist players should expect around 30 hours of gameplay to 100% Fallen Order, and Non-completionists can expect 17 hours if they only play the main story.

For people who enjoy getting a few collectibles and upgrades while not getting 100%, your time to beat will probably sit around 25 hours. There’s a good amount of content for many playstyles to enjoy, and many people have enjoyed playing the game through a second time.

Game Difficulty

Fallen Order has 4 difficulty settings, but there are only 2 that majorly affect game time: Story difficulty and Jedi Grandmaster.

Story is simply for people who want to play the story with barely any threat of dying. Enemy health is drastically reduced, and bosses will barely even put up a fight. People playing on Story can expect their gameplay time to be 17 hours or less.

Jedi Grandmaster is the opposite end of the difficulty spectrum, existing only to challenge the most hardcore players. Every encounter could easily result in death, and you inevitably will die a lot. If your first run is on Jedi Grandmaster, you can expect to have an average of 25 hours to beat the game and get some of the collectibles.

If you play Jedi Grandmaster on a second playthrough, it’ll take substantially less time since you already have experience. Playing on Jedi Master difficulty will give you the best balance of story and challenging gameplay, so that will take you 22 hours on average.

How long does it take to speedrun?

While Jedi: Fallen Order isn’t a hugely popular game in the speedrun community, many people are obsessed with beating games as fast as possible. The speedrun times for Fallen Order also vary wildly, but you can expect your first couple speedruns to be between 5 and 10 hours.

Some blazing fast speedrunners have managed to beat the story under 2 hours, and even beaten the game 100% in just under 5 hours. These are some impressive times, but most people won’t be able to reach these without hundreds of hours of practice.

Conclusion

Overall, Jedi: Fallen Order isn’t a long game to beat, but there are so many different ways to play that everyone’s play times will be different. Whatever your favored playstyle is, you can count on the fact that it’ll take less than 30 hours to finish the game.
